Yeovil Town v Crewe Alexandra
It was our second straight defeat last weekend as the return of a former striker again came back to haunt us. Being 2-0 down in the opening 20 minutes, we will look to improve that with tomorrow's long trip to Yeovil Town.
Lee Barnard returned to Gresty Road last weekend and netted twice in the 3-1 defeat, Nicky Maynard getting our consolation goal from a Kenny Lunt free kick. It could have been a draw on the day with Gary Roberts and Kenny Lunt both missing penalties.
Yeovil play on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Carlisle. Although they opened the scoring just 7 minutes from half time through Marcus Stewart, Carlisle came back into the game and netted 2 goals in 12 minute to take the 3 points.

Team News
Tom Pope could be back in the equation tomorrow.
Crewe
Danny Woodards will be missing from tomorrow's game having not trained all week after picking up an ankle injury in last weekend's game with Southend, but Julien Baudet is fit to play despite being substituted with injury in the same game.
Steve Jones, suffering with a back injury, has begun a rehabilitation programme, but will not be fit tot travel, whilst Neil Cox (shoulder) is well back in training but will not return for approximately another 2 weeks.
Billy Jones came through a mid-week practice game ok and could be in contention having been missing from the game since Christmas with a knee injury, but Steve has been dealt the blow that Michael O'Connor will be missing for 2 weeks having had an injection on his groin earlier this week.
The good news is that Tom Pope has made a return to training this week after missing the last 2 games with a fractured toe, and could come into the equation for tomorrow.

Yeovil could have up to 6 injuries plaguing their side this weekend as Wayne Andrews is rated as a doubt and Paul Warne is also likely to be missing with a stress fracture on his 5th metatarsal.
A goalkeeping situation has occurred down in Somerset as Steve Mildenhall is in the latter of stages of recovering from a knee injury and Asmir Begovic has been recalled back to his parent club Portsmouth. Nathan Jones is rated as a doubt as he fails to overcome a broken arm sustained in February in time for this weekend. Terry Skiverton, who missed last weekend due to illness is fighting to be fit whilst Matthew Rose is hoping to be in contention if he can shake a thigh strain in time for the game.
Head To head
Throughout the history of Crewe Alexandra, our meetings with Yeovil Town equal just 3, and both over the last 2 seasons.
Our last encounter was in early November here at Gresty Road when goals from Chris McCready and Byron Moore gave us a 2-0 win. It was the third unbeaten game, and a further 3 games unbeaten followed.
The last trip to Huish Park for the Alex was in September 2006, in a game that ended again as 2-0, only this time to Yeovil. Ben Williams, was named as the first goal scorer as he lost a cross from his clutches and couldn't do anything to stop it crossing the line for the first goal of the game. Although Crewe tried for the equaliser, they stayed in the game, until with 20 minutes to go Yeovil sealed the win. Paul Terry was in the right place to put away a corner that secured the points for the Somerset club.
