Collins Set For United Test
One of Crewe Alexandra's Academy Manager's James Collins has spoken to Crewe Alex World ahead of this weekend's big game with Manchester United.
It is going to be a tough game for our youngster's, but having beat them already earlier this season in Manchester the players and staff are looking forward to the game that is likely to test the under 18 stars.
James says: "You always find out about your players in the tough games, we tell the boys that all the time, and we have had some tough games this year and done well but there is always room for improvement.
"We beat Manchester United away, which is obviously a tough game, and we have them again this weekend and it will be interesting to see how we go against them this time around. These are always really good games, and one's you look forward to."
Every Manager wants a footballing game as opposed to having a battle on their hands, and James admits that from a club that Manchester United, football is something you can more than expect. But he knows to win the game Crewe's youth will have to produce the football they are known for to match the Premiership's youth and complete the double.
James continues: "It will be a real footballing game, it's not going to be a battle, and it will be who produces the best football on the day.
"We know when we play Manchester United it will be a proper footballing game and it is up to us whether we can handle that and produce our football to win the game. It will be one to look forward to."
